24mo 5" - 6" tall; 408 pages; Purple cloth covered boards with gilt print on spine and black blind stamped design on front. Hinges intact. Colour frontispiece and 9 B&W engravings. First 35 pages of text is a biography of Southey dated 1867. The book is not dated but probably comes from 1870's or 80's. This is a solid little book. Corners are bumped, light edgewear.
